At the beginning of this year, I noticed a pattern in my reading habits. I had way too many vampire books in every single library I have access to, and I realized that couldn't be healthy. This wasn't a new pattern. It's been going for years, but the beginning of this year was the first time I really paid attention, so I decided to do something about it. This year I've challenged myself to choose only books that add something to my faith for leasure reading. I'm an English major in college, so I won't be able to fully read only Christian literature, but I can control what I read for fun. Once I decided to challenge myself to do this, I realized that I might not be the only one out there who could benefit from this. Over the past month I've put together a book list, and set up a blog. Now, I'm challenging you to join me on this journey. You can find the book list at christianfictionchallenge.posthaven.com. I will also be posting related content as the year progresses. Happy Reading everyone!

Why would that not be healthy? I mean, sure, vampire books are mostly poorly
written trash, but its not unhealthy. You're reading what you enjoy, not smoking
cigarettes you enjoy. If you like a genre, read that genre. I like naval fiction, so
I read naval fiction. is that unhealthy?

I read Angel Dust by Sarah Mussi and Winging It and Grounded Confessions Of An Angel In Training by Shel Delisle which I guess are Christian fiction.
